Salt lake in the Jordan  Through of the Great rift valley between the Ghor on the north and wadi Arabah on the south.The surface of Dead sea below sea level  ,is the lowest point on earth .The lake is fed by the Jodan river and a number of small streams it has no outlet .it is located in a very hot and dry region
